 Luci, colori, suoni, percezioni di una città incontenibile.



... Salii a bordo e partii, le luci di Manhattan che mi sfrecciavano accanto a velocità stratosferica.
I palazzi si succedevano altrettanto velocemente e sembrava quasi di far scorrere il tempo in pochi secondi, vedendo l’evolversi degli stili architettonici in maniera immediata quanto un battito di ciglia. Talvolta, dietro i palazzi ottocenteschi, si innalzavano palazzi di vetro che mi proiettavano nel futuro di vent’anni, talmente ravvicinati tra loro, da far sembrare che l’uno sbucasse dall’altro.
Forse era questo che amavo particolarmente di New York: l’architettura, così come l’arte ed i monumenti, si fondevano in un’unica città, formando un’accozzaglia di stili diversi che parevano stringersi la mano...
